Sandy Bridge Starcraft PC

This is the first computer I've built for my girlfriend. We love playing tower defense games together and needed to upgrade from our PS4/Switch couch co-op situation. I had some old parts lying around from old used parts pickups, so it was finally time for her to graduate to the PCMR.

Most of the key components were picked up on /r/hardwareswap in the past year and were being used in my old build. I saw the Deepcool case on sale and was happy to pick it up since I've been curious to build in it after watching many reviews about it. I also bought a 5-pack of chinese fans that I've never used before and they are actually pretty great for the price.

With all the crazy Ryzen deals going on right now, I definitely want to swap out the CPU/mobo/ram in favor of a Ryzen 5 combo in the future. I just need the ram prices for DDR4 to drop a little more and it'll almost be a no-brainer. We only play Starcraft 2 and Dungeon Defenders 2 right now so there's no immediate need for the extra power with the i5-2500k hitting 4.5ghz. Overall the build is extremely quiet and I'm pretty happy with the cheap case and fan purchases.

EDIT: The H80i v2 does a good job cooling the CPU but it's LOUD AF. Like jet engine on an airplane loud. The girlfriend doesn't mind since shes mostly using headphones but my OCD is killing me boys.
