The Conquistador

This is my for gaming and programming, among other things, and configured mainly to remain silent.

I had to get an aftermarket CPU Cooler because the stock was too loud and its downdraught flow direction was clashing with the requirement of the GPU as air exhaust. The system now draws in air from the side panels (CPU cooler on one side, GPU on the other) and exhausts it through the top.

The Sharkoon QB One is the best budget ITX case and offers pretty much every feature one could want at this level, including four USB ports at the front, which is excellent.

I ripped the SSD from my old now dead laptop, so I saved some money there. The peripherals (monitor, keyboard, and mouse) are older and were not bought for this build.

The total build cost was 657€.
