Stormvein

This is my first ever build. When I started I had only really gotten any sort of help or knowledge from youtube and everyone has their own opinions of everything so finding everything I was looking for when I didn't even know what I was doing was a hell of a time.

My biggest problem? Was having lost the instructions for the Cooler master Evo I had and not having any idea how to mount the damn thing. Not wanting to bugger the board or my cpu I had the kind staff of my local part shop 'Memory Express' in the next city over help me out with that.

Since I was buying a lot of things on sale as well in my price range a lot of things unintentionally came out rgb and the same color scheme. Like the white/black case with the white/black mobo was not planned and just kind of happened, I really didn't care about ascetics at the time I just wanted usability and power. but once It all came together I started actively seeking the parts that matched the build.

First the came the vengeance rgb pro, then the lian li strimer cable extensions as well as the black/rgb msi gpu I got more recently. I do plan to fill the other two dimm slots then replace most the fans with white on black corsair rgb, possibly a combination of the LL120's and 140's as the case supports both sizes in the front and top where my the back and cooler support three 120's between them respectively, completely finishing off the B/W combo and promptly removing the W.I.P. below and calling it finished.

The only thing that would need to be done extra would be a resetting of the mobo so that the USB3 and the Lian Li 8PIN connector can come through one of the cuts in the case where as attempting to put them through as is would damage some lower pins. Then the back of the case needs some cable managing something fierce (its a bloody mess) and depsite watching so many videos on it I just...cant seem to get it right. That being said. Unless a i9 or a Kraken aio goes on the cheap, I'm completely satisfied with the build.

Currently W.I.P.

Future plans: 4x LL140, 3x LL120's, 2x 8gb Corsair Vengeance. Replace HDD's with SDD's
