Initially this was a build from 2015 with i7 6700k overclocked to 4.6Ghz on an ASUS TUF sabertooth white Z170 motherboard and a 980GTX. Later, I got another 980GTX and put in SLI. in 2018 I upgraded to a 2080ti, but in 2020 around the coronavirus pandemic, my motherboard started acting up. It was at that point that I decided to change the motherboard, I didnt upgrade the CPU because there was nothing compelling enough on the market, even the 10700k/10900k weren’t compelling enough honestly as I game on 3440x1440. But since I had to basically rebuild everything because of the motherboard, I changed the case and built my first custom watercooling loop.
